Sean-Kierre Lyons Cracker T’s, shot by Daniel Arnold

Developed during their spring 2022 residency at Larrie, Sean Kierre-Lyon’s Cracker T’s are a sardonic material investigation of their ongoing Cracker Series. In this series, Lyons reenvisions American and colonial flags that were either historically rooted in white-supremacist beliefs, or, have been co-opted over time by far-right and conservative movements for their own racist, xenophobic, and transphobic agendas.

On July 4th, 2022 Lyons embarked on a performative collaboration called Bug Juice and Liberation with photographer Daniel Arnold through Brooklyn Bridge Park.
